I didn't like Suomy helmets when they first came out. They were so lightweight I feared that they weren't very safe. It took them a little while to get their DOT and Snell approvals worked out. When I went to update my helmet since my Arai was approaching 8 years old. I did a bunch of helmet research and I ended up with a Scorpion helmet. I was going to get another Arai but decided to try something different (suppose to have superior air flow to the Arai or Shoei ). Its Ok but I favor my Arai for fit and comfort better. I would definitely try a Suomy as I really love the graphics choices they have and I really like the lightweight.

I own a Suomy helmet and I like how they keep your safety in mind. There are a lot of manufacturers out there that can offer you a conglomerate of mere plastic pieces that have been slapped together. The suomy motorcycle helmet can offer you excellent face protection with its Ultra-face shield, infrared heat-blocker, along with permanent anti-fog and hydrophobic coatings! The people at Suomy lead the way when it comes to safety standards in the USA.

Brett,

Nice story and way to go! Here is how I view those folks and how they impact me. They may get superficial/material rewards for their selfish attitude, but they never get the pleasure of looking themselves in the mirror and feeling good about their soul. They may think they do, because they have Wii's to prove their success, but it is all superficial and I actually feel sad for them not knowing what they are missing. Not sad enough to stop me from flipping them off, but still sad ;-).

Ok Brett, you've inspired me to publish my "bucket list" out on my blog as soon as I get around to it. I already have it done due to an exercise we did in our Men's Fraternity at church. Bill, I think you still have them and would ride with you anyday! We better do it before Brett sells his bike (or after he buys his next one!).

Smithers,

Been in NM all week and took Gary and Gerk to their maiden Sadies visit. It was good as always. Next time you are back down here in NM, try Mary & Titos (a divey, but excellent NM style mexican food place) and the Range Cafe (nice, reasonable, gourmet food) on your list of places to try.

Smithers,

I use music the exact same way, except I don't play guitar. My latest M.O. has been taking the Bose iPod stereo out on the back patio and sipping a glass of scotch and just unwinding.
