What year is this anyway?

Well, thanks to my Friend Bill, I have succumbed to starting my own blog… I had thought about it for years about having a blog and it wasn’t until recently that I seriously thought about just capturing those random thoughts that frequently enter my mind. I always thought a blog was a little too braggart or showboating to assume you have view points that others should pay attention to. But now I look at blogs as not so much as “hey look at me and my thoughts” but more as a personal diary that helps you put all those thoughts floating in your mind into a focused dialog. It also keeps you honest about putting those thoughts out there as you knew know who may be reading them. Something like a diary and yet more of just random thoughts…by Jack Handy!

So you may be thinking Camaroboy….Mullet wearing guy stuck in the 80’s who drives one of those classic pieces of Detroit Iron known as the Camaro….

Well in truth I guess that wouldn’t be exactly wrong…Yes I did have a mullet and yes I did have a camaro up until a few years ago, and I did experience the 80’s going through High school. So you can say I embraced that image.

But I like to think I might have evolved some from there…then again maybe not. I won’t say that I won’t have some occasional blog about a Camaro but I want this to be more of a free form thought experiment, part diary, part gripe page, and part “I think these things are cool”.

By the way thanks Bill, for starting me down this time consuming path that I probably would never have got on has you not sent me your link for Shadwells Jacket….I guess you sold it to me!
